Should be Common Knowledge

What I am about to say will probably upset some of you. Others may already know about it.  But, it is something that can be easily proven if you are willing to do a little research.  There are many traditions of man that make void the word of GOD.  The following is one that has been carried on since the church at Rome started trying to gain converts from the worshipers of heathen religions.  They started adapting some of the practices into the Christian beliefs to convince them that Christianity was the way they should be worshiping.

One of the biggest adaptations was to incorporate the birth of Tamuz, I think that’s spelled right, which was in the middle of the winter and convince them that they were actually celebrating the birth of the Christ.

Yes, that’s right, Jesus was not born in the middle of winter.  He was not even born in December.  He was born in the fall of the year at the time of the Hebrew celebration of the “Feast of the Trumpets”.  Which, by the way, is one of GOD’s set times.  The middle of winter is not.  True, there is a Jewish celebration at this time of year but, it is not one that was set, (Ordained), by GOD.

Jesus’ birth cannot only be proven by the Scriptures, it can also be proven by certain historical events, and astronomical occurrences as well.  If I went into detail giving you all of the evidence, you would probably say something like, yea, yea, another whacko trying to destroy our Christmas tradition.  So, I am going to leave the evidence finding to you.  It’s there if you look for it.  You can start with the Bible.  There is nothing there that gives any indication that He was born in the winter.  There is evidence to his birth in the fall.  If you don’t choose to look, I can only assume that you don’t really want to know GOD’s way, you just want a GOD that conforms to your acceptable criteria.  I can only pray that someday GOD opens your eyes to HIS truth the way HE did mine.

Happy holidays and enjoy the festivities and I hope that this time next year, you will be able to say, “Jesus, I know you were not born this time of year but I hope you will accept this as a belated celebration as we have become used to doing it this time of year, only this time I know when your birthday really is”.
