A couple of people linked to my blog using the phrases “A Christian feeling bad about herself” and “Christian when everything seems wrong”.  Not being a counselor, I had no idea how to respond.  Then I heard the message my pastor preached today.  I instantly thought that this was the best answer I could come up with.  The following is a part of that message but I think it is the appropriate response to those phrases which appear to be someone looking for answers.  The colors are my idea to highlight and connect certain words and phrases that were emphasized.

Fear -Respect, honor, revere

Obey-Do whatever you can that HIS servant commands, run to the voice of the sayer

Darkness-Absence of light of any kind, no way out, no end of problems, Part of the trip

Light-Spirit, Trust-Lean on, rely, Faithe (a mental, emotional and physical action),

Stay-Grab hold of and never let go, 

Isa 50:11  Behold,^H2005 all^H3605 ye that kindle^H6919 a fire,^H784 that compass yourselves about^H247 with sparks:^H2131 walk^H1980 in the light^H217 of your fire,^H784 and in the sparks^H2131 that ye have kindled.^H1197 This^H2063 shall ye have^H1961 of mine hand;^{H4480 H3027} ye shall lie down^H7901 in sorrow.^H4620   

Trust in your own ability and you will regret it.

Sorrow-You will lie down in torment 

Instead of trying to light your own candle, push the matches a little out of reach.

A statement of Faith, Abraham knew that even he sacrificed his son, GOD would heal him and return him.  Unwavering Faith. 

Don’t doubt in the dark what GOD has told you in the light.  The dark is part of the trip.
