MY TRIP part 5

Hey Folks;

     Thank for the posts and the encouragement.  I’ll respond to your post later.  Right now I just stopped by to let you know my check came in today and tomorrow I’ll be stopping by Crater of Diamonds for at least one day.  Then I’ll be headed to Round Rock, TX.  I’ll have to skip Mt. Ida.  Had to replace to much of my emergency fund and have to cut expenses a little so I’m headed to Texas.  May take me a day or two after I leave the crater.  If anyone knows anyone in the Round Rock Chapter of GPAA I can talk to about prospecting in that area, I would appreciate it if you would get them to e-mail me and let me know where we can get together.  Thanks in advance.  Gotta go now.  Talk to you later.  GOD bless.  Later.                                                                         Harry

Hey flatoutgold;

     Cool aint the word for it.  It was down right COLD out there today.  So much so that my frostbit finger tips hurt so bad that I had to call it a day after about 4 hrs.  After all the rain they had lately the ground was still mud and clay.  So, no dry sifting.  I had to go the water route.  I should have just dug up some dirt to work with later.  The water was freeeezzziiinngg.  At least I got a chance to go there.  I’ll find out at a later date whether I found any diamonds or not.

pyrate;

     I’m headed all the way to Cal-ee-for-nI-A.  When you get out there.  Leave a post on my thread or PM me.  If I’m not already in California and in the area, maybe we can meet up somewhere. Grumps;      The way I see it.  Nothing happens in this world that GOD doesn’t cause or allow to happen for whatever reason HE has.  Usually to test our faith and trust in him.  As long as I keep this in mind I know HE’s in control of everything that happens to me and I’m on the journey HE’s laid out for me.  And, whether I like it or not, it’s going to work out for the best in the end.  So, what’s the use in crying?  Keep a smile in your heart.  GOD’s in control.

russau;

     I’m glad you enjoy reading what I write.  As soon as I get around to figuring out how to use my camera with this laptop, I’ll try adding some pictures too.

 MOUSE;

     Yes it is.  I guess you could say that this is the first time in my life that I actually did something I wanted to do that I didn’t feel obligated to someone else to do.  And to top it off, I try to keep my speedometer on the double nickel to give me more time to see the world as it goes by.  There’s a lot of pretty scenery out thar. russau;      I don’t think that page exists any longer.  I couldn’t find it.  I’ll see if I can find the last issue of “Gold Prospector Magazine” I received.  I think maybe the list is in there. Well I hope I answered everybody’s questions.  If there is anything else just leave a post and I’ll get to it as soon as I can.  Ya’ll take care now.  GOD bless.  Later.

Hey russau’

     You’re right.  I found it.  Somehow I missed it when I looked at that page before.  I guess the Sun was glaring on my laptop screen or something.  Anyway, thanks.  I found it and now I’m sitting in the WalMart parking lot in Round Rock waiting for Mr. Davison to get back to me.  I sent him an e-mail but if he doesn’t get back to me today, I guess I’ll have to break down and call him.  I don’t like to use the phone too much because of roaming charges.  They tend to add up.  Anyway, thanks again I really appreciate it.  More updates later when I get some to report.  Take care now.  GOD bless.  Later.                                                                          Harry
