I can’t really think of anything to write right now.  I guess, because this is the 6th post on my site, and 6 is the number of man, and I am a man, I should write a little about me.

     Well I was born in 1947.  A momentous occasion, well, it was for me anyway. Most people would say, I’m old, but I beg to differ.  I just reached middle age.  I may look twice my age and sometimes feel  twice that.  But, I don’t let it get me down, too much.  Everyone has that feeling every once in a while, that their carrying the world on their shoulders.  Well, that’s enough of that.

     Growing up I had a chance to travel.  A lot.  By the time I reached 18 I had lived in 3 states and attended 13 different schools and my traveling didn’t stop there.  Since then I’ve lived in 4 more states and traveled in 10 others not to mention a trip overseas. 

     On most of the trips I was working as a professional photographer.  One trip was as a merchant seaman and I got lucky and was able to make a couple of trips for enjoyment.

     Since my last year in high school I’ve had quite a few jobs.  Well, it actually started next to the last year.  I helped my grandfather run a little corner store he owned.  After that, I’ve worked at McDonald’s, an absolute must for high school students, right.  Or at least some kind of fast food joint.  Served my time in the military.  Taught pilots radio aids navagation, clerk typist, professional photographer, sold sno-cones, a pipefitter, a shipfitter, security guard, mate on an oil field supply boat, taxi driver, store clerk, delivery driver, T.V. studio camera operator, and the list goes on.  As the old song says “The Beat Goes On”, I say the list goes on and on and on.

     I’m not Johnny Cash, so I can’t say I’ve Been Everywhere Man”.  But, I have been a lot of places and seen a lot of things.  A lot, not worth writing about, others’, you couldn’t pay me enough to write about.  But, some, I’ll try to write what I remember about them.  I’m not James A. Michener, so, don’t expect any novels. Also, I not an English grammarian, so don’t expect me to be grammatically perfect. 

     Well, that’s enough about me for now, more later, if I can find something to write about me without offending anyone.
