Interesting stuff on the Net

Today, I was doing a little surfing on the net. I read somewhere that the British Library along with a few other places were in the process making a digital copy of the Codex Sinaiticus available to the public on the Internet. Which, if everything goes according to schedule, should take about four years from when they started, I believe in 2005.
For those of you who don’t know what that is, it’s a fourth century uncial, pronounced oon-see-al, manuscript of Biblical scriptures. Perhaps one of the oldest, most complete manuscripts found yet.
The word Uncial, means it’s written in all Greek capital letters with no breaks between words, sentences, or paragraphs.
Anyway, while clicking on the search results, one I clicked on had a link to the Didache. The Didache, which is also called “The Teaching of the Twelve Apostles”, is something my pastor has mentioned a number of times.
The reason I’m bringing the subject up now is, I read some of it and found part of it relevant to what some of the presidential candidates stand for. This translation by Charles H. Hoole into English says, well I think I’ll let you read it for yourselves. To try to avoid stepping on someones copyright, the link is www.sinaiticus.com. It’s about the 17th link down in the right column.
The first few verses of the second chapter are of particular interest to those who claim to believe in GOD and want to do things according the teaching of his word. I can’t help but wonder, the teaching of which gods’ word are they referring to.
