I have a problem with that part of my body that’s located between my ears.  It’s called a brain.  Now there are a lot of people in my life that I’ve encountered that would say, you don’t have one.  Based on the way they think, that description is probably accurate.  However, I never have been able to just accept something as gospel just because everyone else said that’s the way it is and the way it’s been for as long as I can remember.  Well, that’s a big part of my problem, as long as they can remember.  I’ve gone to different churches over the period of my life from the time I was a little child till I was in my mid forty’s.  Whenever I asked a question, most of the time, they either ignored it, dismissed it as not important, or said something that didn’t really answer my question and still left me wondering.

In my twenty’s, there were a lot of people running around wanting to know if I know Jesus, have I been saved, do you this or that or something else.  My only reply, that I can remember saying was, I know GOD and Jesus exist, I just don’t know if GOD wants me or not and if HE does, HE will find a way to let me know.  Well HE did!!  I wont go into the details here, as I’ve talked about it in another post.  What I will say is that, since HE did, I can’t seem to get enough teaching and learning about HIM and Jesus.  Now, my biggest problem with my mind is the evil (devil and his minion) that runs interference doing everything it can to infect my mind with other thoughts, distracting me in every way possible, even to the point of interrupting the reception of GOD’s word by getting into the mechanics and electronics of the method by which I receive the transmission of GOD’s word being taught.  Right now, that’s by computer because at present I am unable to be where the congregation meets.  But that problem, I intend to alleviate before long.

Anyway, what bothers me most is that the people I talk to, especially the ones that claim to be Christian, still hang to the traditions that make void the word of GOD.  When I say something about it, they dismiss it by saying, “so, doesn’t your preacher teach traditions too?”  They seem to be perfectly satisfied where they are at instead of learning what GOD wants, they are happy just to know what HE’s doing for them.  They don’t want to be bothered with finding out what HE wants from them.  They don’t want to hear about any responsibilities, it might mean they would have to respond in some way other than praying for more of what they want and mouthing superficial praise, which as soon as Church Services are over or the incident has ended, they walk away and completely forget about GOD and Jesus until something else happens. 

Moslems are on their knees, what, about four or five times a day.  Christians pray when, at meal times, at bed time, maybe an occasional prayer about the middle of the week, maybe, oh, and don’t forget at least once in Church on Sunday.  And we call ourselves Christians??  Our day should start with GOD, everything else during the day should come between thoughts of GOD and am I living for HIM instead of expecting HIM to approve the way I choose to live my live. 

People are fed baby’s milk gospel, given what they need to make them feel good and don’t want to go any further.  It would mean they would have to grow up spiritually.  They would have to learn that Sunday School shouldn’t stop after they reach a certain age, it should continue, on an adult level, in the regular Pastors message that is taught learning the hard meat of the Gospel, not just preached at on Sunday.  We are in a constant struggle, war, with evil.  That is why GOD called his people Israel HIS battle-axe.  That is why Jesus said, “I come with a sword”, that a person’s enemy’s are those of his own household, because the evil attacks us through those that are closest to us, that have the most influence on us.  Just the way he used Eve to get to Adam.  If the devil can use Peter to try to get to Jesus, what makes you think he wont use the one’s closest to you, even your own mind to try to get you to do things your way, or the worlds (society’s acceptable) way, which is really his way to get you to think you are doing OK and that you don’t need to get to know GOD and HIS ways and Jesus any better than what you’re told with the baby food your fed every Sunday.  That you don’t need to learn to do your own research to make sure you are learning all that GOD has made available for you to learn about HIM if you are willing to look.  HIS truth is out there for those that really want to know HIM and not just accept what someone else expects you to believe, especially those with certain credentials from man’s educational establishments.  Like universities and Bible Colleges.

One of HIS ways is to reveal HIMSELF.  That is one of the main meanings, if not the main meaning of the name JEHOVAH as we pronounce it in English.  One of the ways has been to, at set times, reveal HIS hand on history.  Man, through the influence of evil by associating nut cases and certain groups with events that show HE does control history.  Most Christians acknowledge that GOD has plans for our future.  But they, with the influence of the “Biblical Scholars” that they accept as authority, because of the evil’s intrusion with these nut cases and groups, refuse to accept the evidence.  Thereby rejecting even the idea of GOD controlling any aspect of history this side of the time Jesus walked the earth and just this side of then, (2^nd century on).  I guess they think GOD only controls to long ago past and the, I think they hope, the far distant future, even though a lot of them do say we are at, or at least near the end time.  I sometimes wonder if they really do believe it. 

One of the events that I talked about in other posts was revealed in a manuscript found that gave evidence that the Apostle Paul visited England.  And, that the Church at Glastonbury England was the first, above ground Church established outside of the Middle East.  I can’t help but wonder why people who proclaim to be GOD fearing Christians, don’t have the courage to reject the worlds frame of reference and have enough Faith to believe and trust GOD to say, “Hay, GOD does control everything, history included.

There is plenty of evidence of GOD’s hand on history if you look places other than the “accepted text”.  Most of which is considered spurious because it was not authorized the powers in control, (human power influenced by evil that GOD allowed because HE is a man of HIS WORD and HE changes not.  HE will not force HIS will on people just use them as they are to fulfill what HE wants to happen at the time HE wants it to happen.) at the time, and today’s society (educational institutions) choose to believe worldly powers that GOD.  Much to their eventual regret.   I only hope that what I have said in this and other post on my blog have made a few people stop and think and take a second look at what they are being taught, both secular and spiritual, and find someone to teach them GOD’s ways and can provide the evidence to back up what they say.  I’m one of the lucky few, I have found someone.
