Church History part (1)

Hello Folks;

     In the last few weeks I’ve subscribed to a forum run by Christians for the purpose of discussing all things Christian and a few other subjects also as there is room to discuss other religious beliefs and a few subjects you might study in college.  You can tell they are the intelligentsia of today’s society by the words that they use.  Well I’m not here to critique them; they don’t seem to be interested in what I have to say so I’ll say it here.  Here, I don’t know if you’re interested in what I have to say or not, since very few people have ever left a comment, but I do know that more than just a certain few people are reading what I say whether I get a comment or not.

     Anyway, what this post is about is things that I have learned about church history, GODs’ hand on history, and any other related subjects.  Actually, GOD has had an historical time-line plan laid out for his chosen people since before the worlds were formed.  The devil sticks his hand in where ever he can to twist and distort the plan in the eyes of the people, which leads them to question, doubt, disfaithe, (which is more commonly called by a watered down word disbelief).  GOD has a way of punishing his people for listening to the devil instead of Him.  Evidence, (What kind of GOD would allow this?), Answer (The GOD that is who punishes people for trusting the world, the flesh, and the devil instead of Him).  Example:  I believe what it says in the Bible as long as it can be proven by mans research and doesn’t contradict logic.  “O ye little faith man, why did you double think (think twice)?”  Whoever said GOD, who is all-powerful, and can do whatever He wants, is subject to man’s approval?  It seems I’m getting a little sidetracked from what I intended to write in this post.

     This post is about History, yea even world history and some of the ways that GOD has shaped and molded it, as in Jeremiah 18: 1-10.  Now you may say this is GODs’ word for Judah and Israel.  Yes, you’re right, but don’t forget, Israel, the ten tribes to the north, and Judah, the two tribes to the south, as they were separated after Solomon.  The ten tribes went further north and became the Celts, and the two tribes of Judah and Benjamin were dispersed and scattered and today, the House of Israel and Jews are found all over the world, whether you like it or not.  Only, the House of Israel, the ten tribes, are not called Israelites.  Pick a name of almost any nation in the world, especially of Europe and the Americas’ and it can trace its ancestry back to Israel through Ephraim or Manasseh.  The leaders of these countries can, most likely, trace theirs back to Judah.

     Now back to Church History, there is much evidence that there is a history of certain nations of the world that has been subdued because it just didn’t fit in with what the people in charge of our education wanted us to learn.  Which is another subject I may touch on in another post.  This history, if it was taught in schools in World History, American History, British History, Irish History, Scotch History, or the history of most any other country, would have made my High School History classes a lot less boring and I might have become someone that majored in history and done the research needed to bring more of this history to light.  But, that’s as it may be, and probably wasn’t the right time for it yet.

     Well, so far, I’ve touched on just about everything else I had on my mind but didn’t plan to say, and haven’t said anything about the main subject of this post.  History of the first century Church that is not included in the History books that we are given to read and not taught in the church houses today.  Mostly because THEY don’t even know about it too teach us.  I guess I’ll just call this an introduction and make it Part One.  I’ll try to get to the main subject in the next post.
