A very dark future

The subject I’m going to talk about might lead some people to believe this should be placed in the category of Religion. If it is put there, it will not reach the majority of the people I’m trying to get this message too.
This has to do with the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. While your reading this, keep in mind this quote. “When they came for the socialists, I was not one of them, so I did nothing. When they came for the Communists, I was not one of them, so I did nothing. When they came for the Trade Unionists, I was not one of them, so I did nothing. When they came for me, there was no one left to do anything, so they took me.” I don’t remember who said this, but my pastor has quoted it many times. Especially in referring to the “Petras Bill”, I hope I spelled that right, that he fought to get get passed in California twenty or so years ago. And now, someone is stirring up the *#^! again.
It seams a Senator has decided to select out six ministries, I think they are all on television, to attack. Not because they are not teaching or even preaching GOD’s word, but because he decided they needed to give an accounting of their lifestyle and what they do with the money they take in. How much it is and what they spend it on.
Now, I’m not writing this to defend these ministries in particular, I don’t even know exactly which ones they are. That’s not the point of this message.
The point of this message, is that the action of this Senator, if allowed to continue to completion, affects everyone, not just Christians.
It doesn’t matter if you are Christian, Jew, Buddhist, Muslim, agnostic, or atheist. It’s going to affect your future.
There have been people in the past who fought against prayer in schools, putting crosses by the road side, this message is for you too.
All you Christians who have grievances against, or don’t agree with the doctrines of other denominations. Listen UP!
All of you who would like to eliminate any reference to religion or GOD altogether, this is for you also.
If you live in the United States or have any plans to move the U.S. in the future, you need to read this.
The religious freedom we have in this country is due entirely to the fact that it is included in the Bill of Rights.
For those of you who are not familiar or don’t remember that particular part of American History, when the Declaration of Independence was being voted on, not one of the colonies would accept it without the Bill of Rights being included because they knew that any government, given any authority at all would not rest until it stuck it’s nose into those areas of unalienable rights, (GOD given rights) to use a Christian expression, unless it was specifically written down and included in the Constitution.
In other words, government was forbidden to intrude into these, our (priority position) rights granted by GOD.
Now, try to picture a society where NO ONE is allowed to worship or not to worship as they choose. In other words, a government that not only takes out Federal, State, City, and Social Security taxes, but also takes out a certain amount for Tithes and Offerings. Yes, that’s right. You might not be given a choice. The only form of religion could wind up being a State run church. You could end up with not only money taken out of your paycheck each week, you might not have the option to say I don’t want to go.
You wont even have the right to be an atheist.
All this is what you stand to loose and face if government is allowed to intrude where it doesn’t belong.
More later.
