It’s awful hard to keep my personal belief and what I’ve learned from my teaching-Pastor out of this post.  This Senator strikes me as someone who has no knowledge of what is written in the Bible, or just flat doesn’t care.  It’s reasonably apparent that he isn’t upholding the Constitution by his actions.  I don’t know, maybe he thinks preachers are getting money he thinks should be going into his pocket.  I really don’t know what his problem is.

     The Constitution, more specifically, the Bill of Rights, Should be required to be memorized by everyone even thinking of running for political office.  Especially those in positions to have this kind of influence in government.

     I personally think that every citizen of this country should be more concerned and scrutinize these people running for office in respect to their dedication to keeping this country the free country that the Constitution and Bill of Rights guarantees and be less concerned with their private lives. 

     Don’t get me wrong, I really wouldn’t want someone with attitude of a serial killer, pedophile, or the like representing me either, but this aggrandisement of their sexual habits and other activities that have nothing to do with the political office they hold is really going too far.

     My curiosity leads me to wonder if this Senator is really representing his constituents or trying to get brownie points with a certain special interest group like the tri-lateral commission and how many people in office in Washington D.C. are really representing the people or some special interest group in order to obtain what they want instead. 

     I guess I’ve climbed up on my soapbox in this post.  I really didn’t intend to do that, but I got kinda carried away with my thoughts.

     Anyway, people should be calling and writing their Congressman, Senator, Representative and voicing complaints about the actions of this Senator.  Talk to your Preacher, Rabbi, Priest, or whomever is the leader of your religious organization, and tell them, they all need to band together.  Get information concerning what’s going on.  If anyone would like a transcript of the program where I heard about this, click on the word comment at the beginning of this post.  If you want me too, I will e-mail you the information on how to get the transcript, but if enough people ask, I’ll post it on this page.
